Business is all about what happens at the bottom line. What HVBE wants to demonstrate is how the various segments of business impact that and work together to make business profitable. At HVBE workshops are offered to enable very busy business owners to take one day and learn good solid information from local consultants who are experts in their fields. It would cost a business hundreds of dollars to hire these experts for a day, but at the Edge, one can spend time with them, ask questions, get a sense of where the educational gaps may be, and begin to work on them.
The local economic environment tells us what the “hot” topics are for business in the Hudson Valley and we address those specifically at the conference. We are not outsiders. We are here. We live and work in the Hudson Valley. We aren’t coming to this conference without knowledge of what is happening, right here, right now. We are a part of it.
