John Bassler

Dr. Bassler is President of Know/Go NPD LLC, a consultancy that helps organizations improve their new-initiative success rate. The firm also provides support in marketing research, marketing strategy, and strategic planning.
Dr. Bassler is an associate of The Business Institute at SUNY New Paltz. He is also a member of the Economic Development Committee for Saugerties, NY.
Dr. Bassler’s personal enjoyments include helping his wife provide day care for their two Saugerties grandsons (he’d be happy to provide photos) and singing with the Ulster Choral Society.
Dr. Bassler earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Rice University in 1965, an MBA from Stanford in 1967, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1972.
