Ron Stonitsch

Ron Stonitsch is currently the New York State Department of Labor’s Employer Services Representative for Sullivan and Ulster counties as well as the Human Resources Consultant for the Northern Hudson Valley. Ron has worked for the Department of Labor since 1976 in a variety of positions and has worked in private industry, as an Assistant Personnel Director, for the Kingston Hospital. Ron was born in Astoria, Queens, grew up in Long Beach, Long Island and graduated CW Post College in 1971. He has a Master’s degree in education from SUNY Cortland. Ron was 8 time all American and 3 time national champion in college track and field. He also has coached Men’s and Women’s Cross Country at Vassar College since 1982. He resides in New Paltz with his wife and 2 children. In his current position his job is to promote the numerous services and resources available to businesses in the Hudson Valley.
